Cracked copies of XRY Pro, the software Swedish company MSAB sells to police for getting into locked phones, are on sale online for as little as $10.
MSAB confirmed on October 26 that illegal copies of an older version are being sold after a cyberattack on one of its customers. On November 5, the Swedish business magazine Affärsvärlden reported the $10 price, based on a screenshot from a seller. Late that night, users on the GrapheneOS forum, where people who run the hardened Android system discuss exactly this kind of threat, said download links were circulating on sites that distribute cracked software.
